There are a couple of folks on ebay selling mod chips for the 91 xlt 4.0. Claims are 10-20 hp by making the ECU read all air that is coming in to be cold. Is this worth checking out?

No, it is crap... it is a 5 cent resistor that makes the truck see false intake temps... it has been discussed on here before.... on older engines with tbi, it was a good thing... but with all the newer engines and such with all the newer engine controls, it isnt that big of a deal... also, it iwll waste more gas, as the car will always be in warm up mode and idle a lot higher..... this topic has been discussed here a lot before... and most feel that it is garbage.....
