Modding addiction sucks lol

I want to mod my truck just like everyone else on here does... it just sucks when you cant afford the mod addiction lol... i just found myself looking at some CRAGAR SOFT 8's online, and when i looked at the price, i thought wow i could get those with my next pay check... i figured like 300$ for them to be shipped to me. but we all just cant spend willy nilly like we want to...

i just felt a rush of sorrow after typing this post lol, and the fact that the VIKINGS just scored a TOUCHDOWN ...

I know how you feel too. But sometimes, you can catch a good deal. Case in point, my recent work on my Grand Cherokee, 2" spacers for the coils, longer shocks, front upper and lower control arms I got from different people for free. I bought new bushings for the control arms. I got a set of 5 crawler type wheels for $100 with a fresh HPC coatings. And a set of 4 decent 31s for $100. Last year I got a extended radius arm kits for my Ranger I swapped for a dead motor. And I've got a shed full of tires that will pass safety, but I'll use for trails... All for free... Just have to be willing accept less than perfect stuff. And I use lots of it to trade with too.

I hear ya bro. My wife is now asking if I can leave the 05 the hell alone and put the 98 back together as a dedicated trail rig. I said I would consider it.....but then again I have RB spacers to go on the EB.....and I just installed a new Cobra CB...and my 32's are on it.....and it runs.....and it has a V8....so no.

I have the addiction but every penny I have that doesn't go to bills goes to the mounty. I guess its a better hobby then drugs or alcohol. lol I gotta stop this addiction about 3 months I added all the receipts up and it was over 12000 grand. idk where it goes besides tires 1500, system about 7000, 20 inch rims and tires 1600, built tranny 2800 all the places this thing has brought me and memories made= priceless

3 rockford fosgate t1s they were 450 a peice, 3000 watt rockford power mono d 1ohm stable amp 3700, pioneer head unit 300, rockford highs mids and tweeters all around 12 speakers in total 1800, then the 6 tvs I bought and never got around to installing 400. so I kinda decked out my truck with the entertainment arena only one thing to add satellite once I get back from iraq. you really feel like your in the movie in there

Wow. You overpaid for all of that stuff big time! If you visit Rockford's website they list MSRP (which is lower than what you paid), and you can normally get that stuff a lot cheaper from a shop, and even cheaper still through an online dealer.

Or are you just exaggerating?

that's with all the mounting for the highs mids and tweeters. you can't find any of them but you can hear it and I just included the amp,crossovers for it in the price. plus the whole truck is dynamated. 2nd battery and the 0 gauge wire. 20 farat cap. it was pretty much a package deal and oh yeah I have to get the 8 year warranty. haha the wirin alone I got straight from rockford that was 250
