I've looked online and found a few places... Wanted to know if any one had installed one and how it looks? How much did you spend?

I've looked at the flat trim too but I don't know if it's going to make it look cheesy?

Thanks,

- Randy

Well I also searched high and low for a good quality mold kit for my 98. After almost 2 months of wishy washy decisions, I decided on the kit at www.ExplorerExpress.com and glad I did. It looks great. I will have some pics soon, but right now my X is still in the shop getting all of the stereo equipment installed. Also I went with the Burlwood kit. All 4 doors have this Burlwood on them with the console, radio bezel, and the instrument cluster surround.

Hope this helps,

WOW... Feel like a kid in the candy store. I wish I had the $$$ I'd buy a whole wack of stuff from there.

Thanks for the link... Do send pictures when you get your truck back :)

I got a panel that goes on the center console around the radio from a member here a couple of years ago that bought it from www.exoticwooddash.com . Here's a pic of it:

Wow...this pic is old!! It was taken in 2002.

It's not an MP3 player. It's my Toshiba e355 Pocket PC. I'm using it as an MP3 player, gas mileage log and navigation system. I love it!!!

I ordered the holder. It was on Ebay for $7 so I jumped on the deal. I love this thing!!

Here's a pic with the holder alone:

I used velcro because I don't feel like spending an extra $10 for a holder for the holder. You know...one of those holders that have rubberized sides to "squeeze" the device tightly.

I just got my parts back from Phoenix Image. They dip your pieces and paint them instead of having a stick on dash kit. Might be an option for you. Look in my gallery under interior for pics, but here are some...

wow cobra, now thats a dash kit!

Thanks! They have different finishes they can do - not just Carbon Fiber. I liked the brushed aluminum they have also. I've got a few more interior pieces to get done - then a few under the hood... ;)

CobraXP-

That is the ultimate dash kit! WOW! Do I dare ask you how much? You don't have to say if you don't want to.

EDIT: I saw it in the other thread.
