more cruise problems

cruise control on my 99 eb isn't working. The light comes on on the dash, but nothing else happens. I read some other threads on the problems, but everyone else's light seems to be out. I checked the switch anyway, and it's good. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on the easiest places to start to find the problem, thanx

If your light comes on, then the "thing thinks" it doing something right. Odds are it a fuse... check all your fuses both visually and with a meter.

I had the same problem on my 95. It turned out that the cable that goes from the Cruise Control module under the hood to the throttle body had come off the throttle. I reattached it and it worked great.
