MORE front end vibrations

Well, I removed my front driveshaft and that releived about 95% of the front end vibrations.

Between 2,000 & 3,000 I get some low end vibrations while in gear. You can bearly hear it, but i can for sure feel it in the acceleration pedal.

Any ideas?

Just to be safe, I'm going to change the tranny oil and filter this week, crossing my fingers and hoping that its not the tranny.

Is there a possibility that the engine can make low end vibrations only when theres a load on it, and no vibration while just reving in neutral?

How long have you owned the car? Did you buy it this way? Just develop? And it only happens when moving? Strictly RPM based and not speed at all?

Then the problem has to be in the transmission or transfer case, or one of the diffs, or rear driveline. And quite honestly, that is not that uncommon. It is not unusual to see a planetary cause this. It's also not unusual to see worn bushings, etc in the trans cause something like this. Changing your trans oil won't help that problem. But it won't hurt the trans either. If you can get your hand on another rear driveline, I'd try that. But before you get carried away, things like motor mounts, suspension mounts, body mounts, and a multitude of other things can cause this. The factories have NVH centers set up just to resolve these issues. They are multi-million dollar "labs" dedicated to finding these problems. I've been to GM's in Denver. Sometimes they can't be found at all. The whole point of bringing this up is that it can be a very exasperating problem to track down. Hopefully, you will get lucky and find something quick.
