More Power/Speed

I have had my Explorer for about two years and I have always wanted to give it more power and or speed. I dont have too much money to spend. Does anyone have any opinions?

Without knowing how much your thinking about spending it is difficult to know what your budget is and I assume your not talking about rebuilding your motor for larger pistons, cam,..etc...
I will say the biggest improvement for mine was the Bosch +4's, Splitfire Dual core wires, and K&N drop-in filter, (some people drilled their air-box to allow more air in, so far I have not done this). Those 3 are about $150. Going a bit more you can get into a catback exhaust, headers, larger MAS, larger throttle body,.. etc.. the only limit is what your budget will allow for.

I think that as of now I am willing to pay about $300 to $500. But maybe in the future I will want to spend a bit more. I can also save the money and work on a bigger project when I get more!
