Yup, it's dead after 81k ... it's the friggin battery that came in the vehicle. I think my uncle may have had it recharged once if that.

Just a tribute to motocraft parts :D

I went ahead and picked up an Interstate MTP-65 (Mega-Tron Plus - 85 Months - 875 CCA) battery, it does the job too

81k? That's it?? :D Mine lasted til 103k. Then replaced one that was defective. Replaced that sucker again under warrenty a year later (a week ago) and jerked me another $40.

mines still stock motorcraft also..83k and going

im going with a optioma..when this one dies

mine did not last 5 five years. mostly because i like to listen to the radio with the engine off. interstate is okay but diehard rocks!

Yeah mine lasted 115K miles. It was still starting the truck but getting weak in the 10 degree weather. Replaced it with an Autocraft Titanium... more cranking amps!!

my 95 T-bird has a Motorcraft Battery, and i'm pretty sure its the same one that it came with,

but I think its finally starting to go,

let it sit all winter and i think that the cold finally got to it

I just replaced my Diehard with an Optima yellow top. The Diehard was still going but I wanted a deep cycle battery to handle my audio system.

mine lasted less then 65000 miles. It happened late at night so i bought a pos walmart battery for 70 bucks...i had to get to work the next day :)

Mine died this morning so I just stole my Moms 03 XLT to go to school in :)

My significant other still has the original battery in his 1995 EB with 330K miles on it. He just had to replace one of the cables last weekend due to a no start situation (clicking noises). Seems to be starting fine so far.
