motor shuts down intermittantly

a month ago my motor shut down while driving down the road. waited 20-30 minutes...truck started up, no check engine lites, no computer codes. drove fine for a month then shut down again 2 nites ago...changed the fuel filter thinking maybe it was clogged.
truck started up drove fine for about 30 minutes, then died again. had it towed home and it started right up.

i'm thinking maybe the fuel pump is going bad...anyone had anything like this happen to them?

truck will always start up if i let it cool down...no check engine light...no computer codes

i had the same exact thing. 6 weeks ago ford told me it was a bad lower intake manifold gasket. they fixed it and it was fine....till a few days ago. so i took it to a real mechanic, the guy i usually go to unless theres free warranty work to be done. he told me there was something shady going on with my superchip, we took it out, and it hasnt happened since (but ive only had my truck back for a few days.)

When I used to have my '92 Ex, I had a JET chip in it. It ran fine, however I felt no improvement. Anyways, After like a few years or so, the check engine light will come on every now and then. So I took it to Ford and hook up on the computer, there were like 3-4 different codes. They told me the codes were on the mass air flow senor, throttle body sensor, and something else. They did a few more testing till they took a look the the ECU and saw that the chip was there, they took it out and ran the test and everything was fine...no codes. I called JET and they sent me a another one. Seems like there's quite a few people have other chip problems like mine

i just drove to NY and back this past weekend and it hasnt done it anymore. my mechanic said he checked for codes and there was nothing.
