Mounting a laptop

I am interested in mounting a laptop on the center console so the children don't drive me insane when we go skiing this year. I will just let them watch a DVD. I would like to mount the thing securely but I also don't want to attach anything permanently to either the laptop or the truck. Any suggestions

ask a law enforcement officer. they should be able to tell you how a laptop could be mounted in a car since they have one on/in the dash

Nothing temporary will be secure thats for sure. (With regards to both theft and vibration) Gall's makes some cool laptop mounts for vehicles. http://www.galls.com

As for somthing more temporary I would just get a Rubbermaid container small enough to fit between the seats and hold the laptop down to that with some industrial velcro. Just a suggestion
