whats going on...i finally got my mountaineer cluster in...has the same exact lights as my stock 02 ex cluster which is great...only issue im having is that the mileage on the mountaineer cluster is not reading my current mileage but that of the car it came out of which is 30,000 less than what i have on my car...i thought the mileage is stored inside the ecu?...any help would be appreciated...ohh and i did disconnect my battery for over 15 mins which should reset the ecu...i thought that would help but it didnt

The instrument cluster stores the miles..............

will changing out the lcd screen from my original one do the trick? i couldve sworn reading about it being store in the ecu... i guess ill have to try it out tomorroww

i actually forget to update the thread...i did the swap and everything is good and ready to go...i didnt know ford would make it that easy to cut down the miles on the car...or is stored in the ecu also? i wouldve thought that once u plugged in a new cluster it would read the current mileage of the vehicle
