I just received the Mr. Gasket t-stat I ordered to get better coolant flow and more responsivness. I find that the Stant I'm replacing along with the surrounding O-ring has a diameter of 52mm. The Mr. Gasket with the same O-ring is 54mm. Doesn't sound like much but 52 fits perfectly and I can't get 54 in the recess in the block.
Anyone else had this issue?
