As seen HERE I'm trying to figure out why my brake lights to include the Center High Mount Stop Lamp (CHMSL) is not working. Does the MFS in some way control this?
My fuses are good and my brake pedal switch was replaced but still no brake lights at all. My brake lights are capable of lighting up as proven by the hazard lights working, left and right turn signals working. There must be a mechanism that activates the brake lights to send voltage down to the actual bulbs but apparently this is a different mechanism than the hazard lights and turn signals.
How is MFS involved and distinguished from when the brake pedal is pushed?
