MY 2002 EB V-6 ENGINE IS GONE

I GOT A 2002 EB V-6 TWO MONTHS A GO AND KNOW ITS AT THE DEALER WITH A SHOT MOTOR I PUT 4700 MILES ON IT AND LAST NIGHT I GOT IN MY X AND WENT 2 MILES WHEN A BANGING STARTED I PULL IN A JIFFY LUBE I CHECK THE DIP STICK AND ITS DRY NO OIL SO I PUT 4 BOTTELS IN AND GO TO MY DEALER A MILE LATER MY X DIES OUT CALLED TOW TRUCK. THERE WAS NO WARNING LIGHT NO LOW OIL LIGHT AND NO OVER HEATING. CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHAT HAPPEND. AND HOW LONG WELL IT TAKE FOR THEM TO PUT A NEW ENGINE IN IT . I LIVE IN FRESNO CA MY DEALER IS LITHEA FORD CAN ANY BODY TELL ME IF THERES A GOOD SERVICE GUY TO TALK TO THERE. AND WHAT KIND OF **** CAN I EXPECT FROM FORD. ANY OTHER 2002 DOING THIS. Sounds like your engine was starved of oil and seized.

you cant still have "good" oil pressure on your guage even if the level is low. it sounds like it never had enough oil init. it might have been burning oil excessivley or had a bad sensor. this might be a blessing in disguise as you should get your motor problems done with early and never have to worry about it again. a good rule it check your oil every other fill up if you are **** liek me, even though i have NEVER had to add oil between changes. just a ood habit.

it should take a week for them to get the motor and put it in. my dad f-150 went through this except he drives liek an idiot and its a work truck so he doesnt care.

Same thing happened to me in my F-250 w/5.4l No light no nothing. At least my mustang says low oil. New motor only took them 5days.
