My 2003 Ranger is still at the guy's shop after his third attempt to fix it.

I have a 2003 Ranger with a 3.0 flex fuel engine and a 5 speed auto.After he supposedly rebuilt it it has got to the point now where I am going to have to try to help him get it right this time.Now at this point we have no reverse or drive until you hit about 3000 rpm but we do have manual low,so is it the reverse low servo seal or something else.I saw him put it together last time and am fairly certain he didn't have any specs for the tightening order or torques for the valve body bolts.I definitely need Glacier or Brooklyn to help me,this guy has been paid and now I'm broke or I would just take it somewhere else.It's been six months!

Is he a member of WWW.ATRA.Com? He should order a complete transmission for you if he can't get his remanufactured unit working properly. Did he use a torque wrench on the valve body bolts or was he guessing? Did he rebuild the valve body?
