My audio set up!! whatcha think??

well this is what I am planning on doing for my new 97 explorer XLT

Farenheit Mobile CD/MP3/DVD Player w/Remote for 180.00

(2) 4 in LCD screens for 85.00 each for head rests ( I haev these in the del sol and they are good quality LCD's)

also getting a FM modulator for 40.00 (farenhiet)

all I need now is an amp and stereo head unit.

so what do you think of the set up??? I dont want to go ALL out cuase the explorer will be in MX and its dangerous here but I want a basic set up!

if you have better suggestions for products that beat those prices post them up.. but I dont think you can beat those prices!!

I just bough the DVD player for 190.00 shipped from thezeb.com..veyr good deal!! only 11 of them left!

sounds good. since you live in mexico i think that dvd player will do fine for you. but they dont do well in the cold. a few people complained about thiers no longer reading discs after the cold weather hit. i recommend the blaupunkt unit. it has a much better build quality, and no problems so far.

why FM modulator? they provide a crappy signal. just run regular rca inputs. you'll be much happier.

FM modulator

well from my understanding I need an FM modulator to get the surround sound from the DVD player to play in all my speaker.. I have it in my del sol and it sounds pretty good and I think it makes a difference.. but I hvae never heard a system without one so I dont really know the difference.. the shop told me to get it when they were hooking up my del sol..

hmmmm do I really need it???
