Today was my last day of summer as school will be starting back on Monday. However, it was also my happiest day! My new tires came in first off. I got some 265/75/16 Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S. I am happy with them so far. All though they are not a great/expensive tire, they are decent for what I could afford. Then my new Simpson backpack came in from Jeg's and I did not know that they would include so many free goodies with my order! And on a completely unrelated note, I saw my biggest paycheck of the summer :D So my presence on this forum will be a decrease, although not an absence. Thank you all so much for your help, everyone!! :salute:

My first friday of summer (today) i icked up my ex with a new rearend a 2.5" glasspack exhaust from the Y back and a mac intake.

sounds like a great day k. post some pics up of the x

I will post pics Monday when I have internet. I have nome at my house anD I am on an iPhone now) the tires do rub the front wheel well liners a little at full lock, Whig has actually become a blessing because now I have gotten permission from the folks to do a bodylift to clear them. This summer I accomplished installing a sound system, painting my wheels, airbox mod, flowmaster 40 series muffler, and them the new tires. From the little free time I have had I am proud of myself and by this tome next year hope to have a cai, bodylift, safari rak, cb radio, push bar, 6 total lights (4 driving on rack and 2 fogs on pushbar), and hids, give or take 2 or 3 items XD

sounds awesome be sure to post pics of the progress

Definitely will. Everything up to the fm has bEen posted on my registry page/build thread in my sig. Need to get pics of the muffler but I took many before and after shots and measurements with the tiresof which I will post a new thread once I compile all ofthe pics and info so be looking for that next week! I've gotten into the habit of photographically documenting EVERY modification, both permanent and temporary.

i looked at the build ... looks good ... still have huge plans for it like me huh? just little setbacks like $$$ huh?

Just out of curiousity, what did those tires run you, and what was the original tire size? I'm looking at the Discoverer STT for my X, but have to go up to 265/75/16 from my stock 235/65/16's. I'm curious if mine will rub, mine is 4-wheel drive, so it might sit a bit higher and not rub. Any thoughts?

I got mine from tire rack and they were $115 apeice for the D load ratings that I got. There was an alternate E load rating that were $119 apeice but I decided that was unnecessary. Then there was the shipping charge of $67.50 which may seem a bit high, but then they are 32" tires and they did get here in less than 20 hours. the stock size was 235/70/16. My shocks are leaky so that might have made it come down just enough to rub a little. But the rubbing is minimal, it is only at full lock also. I would say go for it, I can't hear it rubbing, just see it when I lock the steering wheel and get out and look. Even with mud on the wheel well liners, after driving around on full lock, I get out, and even in the mud I can't see any evidence of rubbing, which kind of confused me since I could visually see it rubbing... However, that is all on the back part of the wheel well liner, I couldn't tell you if it rubs on the front part because mine aren't on there.
