if you have ever had an "OH ****" moment, this was one of those.
me and a couple buddies were riding along a gas line, going through the woods, playing in the creek (about 6 inches of water), getting in some mud, all the fun stuff you can do on an atv. on the way in we tore up a beaver dam so it could start draining what used to be a really nice mud hole and has been turned into a swamp. well on the way out we started to tare the dam up some more, i wanted to see how deep the water was, i eased it in really gentle-like and the water was up to the bottom of the engine (the swamp had been slow-draining for an hour and lost 4 inches) i decided to keep on going and i hit a deep spot, which was at one time, a creek... I took my TRX 125 swimming in a six foot hole. we scrambled to get it out, opened it up, drained it, tinkered with it for 15 minutes put it back together, and fired it up.
it puffed out either steam or smoke but it is still ridable. either way it gets new oil and spark plug tomorrow.
