In my haste to get my build thread going, I completely neglected to stop in and say HI to the forum in general!
Hi there, everyone! I just picked up my first Ford yesterday, as a project car. '05 Sport Trac XLT. This will be my beater road trip and light offroad vehicle, as well as doing the duty of yard work and dump runs. I'm bringing it back on the road from a wrecking yard, but it was definitely worth saving.

As I said before, I'm pretty new to the world of Fords. This is the first one I've owned, though I worked in sales at a Ford dealership to get me through the Recession when the tech world turned upside down for a bit. That's where my love affair for the Sport Trac started.
My daily is supposed to be a '17 Kia Optima PHEV, but my wife has hijacked it because of its fuel economy and creature features. So my ACTUAL daily is a '13 Hyundai Santa Fe (which also is our camper hauler).
Oh, and 08 BlackAndTan on this board is my actual real-life best friend. So we've been working on our projects together. And encouraging each other to do stupid things, as well we should. Enjoy a pic of his 02 Sport and my Trac together... with my Santa Fe barely visible behind his Sport.
