I posted on here a while back about having headlights going on with ignition switch. My idea was to use a relay to turn them on. Then I progressed to a ready made wiring harness for converting over to HID lights. But I bought one for a 2 prong headlight and needed a 3 prong, but only wanted to use low beams.
Solution low beams have a separate fue for each side, put a fuse tap on each. Found a fuse that turned on with key, put a fuse tap on that fuse connected all three with an in line fuse. Headlights come on with switch. But wait tail lights do not.
Same procedure found another fuse that came on with key, put tap on there, but had to find wire that feed tailights and splice into that.
Everything is easily removeable, and light switch operates like normal , in case you need hi beams
