Let's play a game:

It's called "What The Hell Is It?" This episode: "The Mystery Sensor"

Was under my X today spray-painting over some small spots of rust and found this hanging down up front next to my "fog" lamp.

Has a large hex ring with a thread and a small cone on the end. All one piece. Attached to it is a christmas tree fitting with white stress marks on it so it came from somewhere.

Just a guess but it might be the sensor for the outside tempature display.

looks like the airbag sensor, look directly behind your grill in the center and there should be a bracket with a similar lookin sensor.

100% totally NOT an air bag sensor.

But yet it is in fact the out side temp sensor.

Woo Hoo. I called it right. :D

That's a first.

Ya, I found that when i took the front bumper off to fix my fogs, I assumed it was the air temp sensor. Guess I was right cool. :chug:

For an extra post, I'll say exterior sensor as well  ;)
