- 2013 Explorer XLT
Hello.
Just purchased a dark grey 2013 Explorer XLT in Denver. It had 17k mikes upon purchase. Pretty pumped. Newest car I've ever owned. Fun to be back behind the wheel of a Ford again. My 1st car (24 years ago) was a white '85 Ford Escort.
With a slim budget, I'm looking to add a few goodies to slightly differentiate my XLT from others' - which is what lead me here. And I've already found some helpful info in these forums. Thanks. Some items I'm considering:
• tint front windows
• clear bra
• all weather mat package
• Replace my current grille with the all black Sport grille
• 20" black wheels (debating matte/gloss)
• 20" tires (recommendations?)
• de-chrome all door handles & trim (recommendations?)
• info on chip/performance improvements (recommendations?)
Other than that, I'm an appreciative new owner & glad to have stumbled across this forum.
Cheers.
