Now, before you yell at me to get a tape and go out there myself, the Explorer is about 130 miles away. I don't have a tape measure that long! I already spent a lot of time searching the forum and also didn't find the number I need.
I'm trying to get a box designed and everything together for an install I have to do in a 2001 Explorer. I'm trying to get everything planned out so I don't waste anytime when I get up there. So if someone could tell me the space between the wheel wells I'd be greatful!
When all is said and done I'll post pics (in a new thread) of the install. Me and a friend are going to do it the weekend of the 19th. Going into the Explorer will be:
3 Optima batteries in the back
4 Kicker KX 1200.1's
2 Kicker KX 150.2's (why he didn't get a 4 channel...???)
1 Kicker Solo X 18
Touch screen Eclipse deck
Unknown highs
It's a nightmare planning right now, as the owner just states "I have everything you need", but didn't know if he even had a distrobution block. I'm afraid it's going to be a lot of frantic running to the local shop for ring terminals and fuses and battery terminals etc. Hopefully it'll all work out. Time will be the #1 enemy. Starting Friday night, gotta be done Sunday afternoon. And it might include some fiberglass work (but I hope not!).
