need alarm help; where's my valet switch

My '95 ex came with a viper 791xv but no remote. The previous owner says it does work but he broke the remote so it needs a new one. I finally went out and bought one but need to find the valet switch to program it. Without having tools (they're at my parents garage about an hour away) I'm looking around trying to find the valet switch. I did finally find the right wires for it but they go into the driver side kick panel. Any suggestions on which direction I should look from there? Not sure if I should go up the pillar or along the floor. What do you think?

Each installer chooses a location, there's no "standard" on where to put it, on my GF's 95,it was on the headliner, close to the sun visor, so it's better for you just to follow the wires....

That's what I was afraid of. Just didn't know if anyone had ideas on places to look. The headliner is a good idea though. I know the antenna for the alarm is ran up the pillar and across the headliner so it's likely the button is there too. Thanks for the reply.

Found the switch. I chased the wrong wire. Turns out the switch was just zip tied to some bracing in the dash. Requires tools to get to it anyway.
