Hello. This weekend, I plan on replacing my Transmission oil cooler lines. My current line is leaking. Does anyone here give me a blow by blow on how to do it? Is it a difficult thing to do or should I pay a mechanic to install it for me?

If you have prebent lines, it shouldn't be too bad. If you're planning on bending the lines and have experience doing that, it shouldn't be too bad. If you have neither, pay someone to do the work. I'd also suggest having the appropriate flare nut wrench(es). If you choose to do it yourself, obviously have some Mercon III (or whatever) on hand to replace what you'll lose while the lines are disconnected.

***Update***

I got up Saturday morning and went to the auto parts store and purchased 1 foot of 3/8 rubber hose and two clamps. I lifted the Ex and cut out the section of the metal tube with a hand held saw. I then connected the rubber hose to the ends of the cut pipes and clamped them tight with the screw clamps. End of leak.
