need help building a sub box for a 97 ford explorer xlt for two alpine type r 15s

hi i have a 97 ford explorer xlt 4 door im trying to build a subwoofer box for two alpine type r 15s i dont want the box to take up the back of the explorer cause its also my mud rig i need enough room for my tool box and tow strap i was really thinking 5-6 cubic foot for the box i want the box to be ported with the port going across the bottom of the front of the box there was a guy i saw on Google with two type r 15s and a box with the port on the bottom im powering the subs with a newer rockford t1500 the subs are 750 rms a piece so if anyone could help that would be sweet i listen to techno,dubstep,metal,deathcore,rap,underground,hiphop,and a lil country basically anything so anyones input would be appreciated no drama or put downs plz
