Hi everyone, I'm having a problem with my 06 explorer AC, the knob used to control fan power (1,2,3,4 settings), only settings 3 & 4 work, so when I turn on the AC/heater I get that cold/hot air blown in my face, so I always have to turn it off every 5-10 min to maintain that temprature inside the car. It's getting really annoying, anyone have any idea on how to repair this prob, any specific part I should be looking for to replace? can i do it in my own and save some cash or do i have to take it to a repair shop?
waiting for your responses people, thnx.
I think it's called "Blower fan resisitor", this is what I found:
It is located under the dash on the passenger side. This is per service manual on remove and replace.
