Need help regarding a modification <---------------

Ok the guys on this board that own an Explorer 1995+ with a sunroof and compass and temperature display on the ceiling will probably have a better time being able to answer this question. What I want to do is be able to take the whole "center" thingy off (the one on the ceiling) and wire my radar detector to a power supply in there. So what I am asking is where do I put my flat blade screw driver (or equivalent) to basically pop this thing off, wire up my radar detector and then put it back on. I will try to post a picture either now or later, when I have a little more time!

I can't help you with your question but i'd just like to ask you to put up picture if you do that because it sounds like a great idea, thanks. BTW What kind of radar detector?
