Need help with 4 wheel drive

I have 2001 explorer sport and 4 wheel drive is not working . I replaced dash switch and verifies it ohms out . Also replaced 4 wheel drive module in passenger kick panel and upon starting both lights blink . I then took out the tranfer case motor and verified on test bench it does move however when plug it does nothing I had it out and when I switched it to 4 wheel nothing happens. Any info would be appreciated

Technically, when switching from 2H to 4H it should be "imperceptible", this allows shifting from 2H to 4H while moving, the only thing that "engages" is the electroclutch in the TC, and this is designed for smooth functioning. When switching from 4H to 4L, and visa-versa, you must stop, put the shifter in "N", with your foot on the brake, and then move the switch to 4L, wait a few seconds for the electric shift motor on the TC to move into position. It might be possible to hear or feel the "low" planetary gearset engage in the TC, but I never have in mine.
