need help with DTC codes up the ying-yang

2010 EB 4.6, about 215,000 miles

A few years ago, the remote keyfob stopped working. I just started using the keypad and it hasn’t bothered me enough to take a look at it. But i bought a remote start system and I couldn’t get it to work so I figured it was time. I hooked up my laptop and holy hell. I can’t believe the amount of codes. There are no lights on the dash, and the car drives fine, the power seats work, etc. the most I’ve seen is in wintertime over the last few years (I’m in the northeast) is that I would start the car and the fuel gauge would bounce around for awhile and then show empty no matter how full the tank was.

Anyone seen anything like this? I’m hoping that with the canbus error, it’s something centralized. I did take the dash out around six years ago to replace the heater core, and I pulled the carpet last year for a good cleaning so obviously everything came out. The car also sat for a month in november so the battery died. but I bought a new one and have driven more than a few hundred miles since then so I’m not sure why it’s complaining about “readiness test not complete” and “battery voltage too low”. Myself, I would write down the codes, clear them and drive it for a while then check again.

Check the SJB module.may be soaked in rain water

ok thanks all! i pulled the SJB but it looked pretty good, no signs of water damage. only 1 fuse was blown, #25 for the trailer lamps. when i put everything back together and ran forscan, I got the P1000 code, so i guess after a few days of driving to work i'll see what comes up.

Well,check it inside the box (if the problem still exists)


The instrument cluster is the gate for all of the HS/MS CAN data signals so might be a problem with IC too (or loose IC connector maybe).
By the way
P1000 means nothing and dont turn on mulfunction lights ,it will appear until any DTC will be cleared and several drive cycles will be completed without DTCs
