Hello everyone. I'm new on here and had some questions. I bought my wife a 2002 explorer limited a few months ago. It has the 4.6 v8 awd. Real nice vehicle all around. Well she wants bigger wheels and tires. So I found a set of used 33 12.5 17 tires on Craigslist at a good price so I picked them up. Now I did some reasearch and it seems everyone uses 285 tires. So I'm looking at buying some mb motoring 17x8.5 chaos wheels. They come in a -6 offset and a +18. The -6 is the right choice correct? Also I'm looking at the leveling spacers. I was going to buy a 3" lift spacer for the front but how much of a lift for the rear to keep it level? Will it run bad? Thanks in advance.

I would go with a 2" in the back. I have the quick lifts and it is supposed to add 1.5 up front and 1.25 in the back and it has a nice level look. I think with a 3 inch lift in the front, 2 in the rear would be a good shot.

Also with that size of lift you should use the uniball style UCA's.
