Need new alternator

I have searched and read a ton of threads from this site and others. I am currently deployed and trying to research and not worry about the product I buy from over here. I would like a 200A+ for under $400 MAX!

My searches have been inconclusive to this point because I have narrowed it down to 2 alts. Powermaster 200A from Summit and 200A Knukonceptz. Has anyone had experience with these companies? $400 for an alternator hurts my wallet but if that's the better route then so be it.

How about an Ebay alternator? I usually don't like buying parts like this from fleabay but if you have had good experiences with a seller or two then please let me know!

That site wasn't working for me the past week so I said no to db. Now its working, go figure. Good reviews and lots of recommendations so i'll probably buy from them. Thanks!

No problem, that's where I order my 200A and I've got no complaints on it, though I do still need to get an optima

I went ahead and ordered the 220A alt from DB yesterday. It shipped the same day which i'm surprised about. The big 3 will be done as well when the new alt goes in.

Apparently the initial problem was that the exciter wire had corroded to dust so my old alternator was still good. But now I have a bigger alternator! Thanks NIX
