This is for a '97 Dodge Caravan V6 3.0. After the MIL came on, I scanned and got a "Cylinder 2 Misfire code". I replaced the plugs, cap, and rotor, all of which were in terrible shape, but the same code resurfaced after a week or so. I replaced all the plug wires, and the code still resurfaced. Tonight I ran some Sea-Foam through the throttle body, because I thought the #2 injector did not sound quite as "crisp" as the others, but when I took it for a test drive, I got the same code again. I rechecked the new rotor and cap as well, and rechecked all the wires to make sure they were routed correctly and seated well.
It only triggers when actually driving. I have never been able to get it to trigger while at parked idle. I have not yet checked the electrical/resistance on the #2 injector, as my multimeter is at another house.
What else might be causing this?
