is it possible to replace just the seals?

Yes it is, but let's start with how many miles and what kind? Where is the leak coming from ? How is it working otherwise ?

167770 miles on the car

about 67000 on tranny and it just leaks a **** load of fluidand other than that she works fine so far

an ideas?

is it a blown seal or somethign else?

where is the leak appearing from? Need that info.

front seal

could just be a bad seal... watch the level... go have it inspected

"front seal". Meaning bellhousing? You cannot see the seal. A bellhousing leak could be seal or TC.... but I'll accept your x-ray diagnosis. Front seal leak means remove the trannie to fix. (Course so does a TC leak).
