Need some help pleaseeee

Alright I hooked up my new pioneer head unit and i got power to it but no sound from the speakers..Now I am pretty sure this is because there is a factory amp I need to bypass...I need to know what this amp looks like how big it is and what i need to do to bypass it..I own a 98 explorer sport...All help is appreciated..Thanks

Hmm...I'm pretty sure that in 98 the amp was in the HU, but if yours has the external amp it will be located in the rear passenger cargo area. You have to remove the trim panel to get to it.
