need some help with my 03

ok so the 6 disk indash cd player crapped out the other day. I had an old panasonic HU just sitting around to use until i buy something better. I bought the harness today. But it only has one plug and apparently I need 3. I figured one was for the Sub and the other for the steering wheel controls. I can live without that as long as I have a working CD player for a couple weeks. Well It's possible that the HU isnt any good. But after I wired everything and turned it on, No sound. It comes on but nothing happens. Is it possible that I'm going to have to order a different harness?

After hooking a speaker directly to the HU, I believe its trash. No sound even directly connected. But, Once i get a new one ordered. What do i have to do to keep the subwoofer and steering wheel controls working?

To keep the subwoofer working, you will need to purchase the proper harness.

To keep the steering wheel controls, you will need a special adapter that allows you to use them. They can be found online. Around $20.
