Need some help!

I am seriously considering buying a 96 Explorer Eddie Bauer.The truck is really clean but has 94k miles on it.Is the milege to high?Or is there anything special i should be looking for?Today i didn't test drive it the dealership was about to close but i statred it up and it ran very smooth no ticking,knocking,pinging or anything!But one thing i did notice is that the rear bumper on the passenger side was a little off line(pulled out away from the body some)Could this be from pulling a trailer or boat?because if so that makes me a little nervous.Any help before i decide to buy it or not will be great!thanx

First tell us what you are going to use the truck for? offroading? hauling your boat? street machine? give us an idea. Some configurations work better for some things than others.

Well ,the engines I belive haven't changed much if it's the 4.0. I have over 200000 miles on mine. I bought it last year.

The owner didn't abuse it but he sure didn't go crazy maintaining it either. He was not a Do it Yourselfer so at the price of a mechanic he definitely waited for a breakdown before fixing. It's been basically trouble free for 12 months now.
