Amazon is good, fast parts network is pretty good for Motorcraft stuff.

Amazon and Rockauto are, IMO, the best sources for most parts.

Rockauto is usually cheaper if you can group your parts together from the same warehouses (especially with their 5% discount, AND the fact you don't pay sales tax from them). Shipping takes a lot longer than Amazon though, so it depends how quickly you need the part.

Regard reman parts - it depends what it is, and who the rebuilder is. Rockauto is just a distributor. The parts they sell are mostly the same as local parts houses. Most of the local parts stores have their own "house" brands that are just rebranded, I think they do it to limit price matching.

For example, Advance auto's "BWD" line is usually Standard Motor Products. Autozone's Duralast axles are A1 Cardone (reman) or Surtrack (new). Napa's Maxdrive axles are all A1 Cardone.

ok , I still need some help , I can't find a new oem motorcraft MAF with this part number : F57F-12B579-DA
and IAC with this part number : 97JF-9F715-BA
These are for explorer 98 4.0L sohc xlt
can anyone give me a link?!!

Plugged both those part numbers in an ebay search and they came up, both new and used. (hands the baton) Have fun!

As the other guys said, amazon's always good. Pretty quick too. I'm not to fond of ebay so I wouldn't really recommend it. auto parts warehouse is also good, their not as pricey as you think

I have the same vehicle as yours.

Rock Auto (www.rockauto.com) has 5 IAC's listed ranging from $44.79 to $79.79 that fit a 98 SOHC 4.0L XLT. I would go with the Delphi PN#CV10112 (OEM PN#97JF9F715BA) for $66.79.

Rock Auto also has 6 re-manned MAFs available if you need the complete sensor/connector/probe and MAF Duct. Your part number F57F-12B579-DA
comes up as a re-manned MAF with Air Duct, probe, and connector for $102.79 with a $75.00 core charge.

There are also 2 sensor/connectors/probes listed if you need that only. You probably do not need the Duct, only the probe and connector. And, you probably could get by with cleaning your existing probe and not replacing anything.

Also, the 5% discount code for Rock Auto is 8F82E503159D25 until 4/26/15. Input that number when checking out in the "How did you hear about us" box for a 5% discount on your order.

How's that?

And I am no how, no way, not never even, or even ever so much and more so, associated with Rock Auto. I just like'em fer quality parts and, <ahem>, ease of use of their website.
