Need to lower a '93 Explorer 4x4

I am trying to figure out how to lower a 1993 Explorer 4x4. Does anyone know where I can find a kit to lower it? Is it possible? Thanks in advance.

why do u want to lower a 4x4? There are lowering kits for 2wd explorers but i dont know if they fit a 4x4.

yeah, i know i can lower a 2wd, i was looking into lowering a 4x4.

Not sure of there are kits out there for a 4x4, however you can lower the back with some blocks. Since the leafs are under the axle, blocks lower the rear. If you don't need the 4wd you could take out the front 4x4 pieces & replace them with a 2wd setup, then get the kit for a 2wd.

Problem is you can only lower a 4x 2 inches due to clearance issues. anynmore and stuff will hit, or atleast I am told. Believe it or not there was a time I was thinking about lowering my first gen.
