I need to get the axle out so I can finish my ball joints. Vehicle doesn't start as of today either so I'll have to get it brought in tomorrow. I have the wheel, rotor, caliper, dust shield all off. Now I don't know where to go from here. I just want to get the axle off without having to remove the steering knuckle.

And help would be great!

If you are trying to get the CV axles out, then disconnect the upper control arm at the top, let the spindle fall farward, which will allow the CV to come out of the spindle. If you need to remove it completely, them just tug on it a bit and it will become unclipped from the axle.

So I just have to remove the bolt that goes through the top of the knuckle? This day has been bad enough with my x crapping out, I just really need to get some good out of this bad day. I'll go out and check it out real quick and let you know how it goes

Yeah remove the pinch bolt and pound the upper control arm out.

Just to make sure...pinch bolt, that runs horizontally through the top of the knuckle, right? I've got it almost out but want to make sure. Will this be hard to put back in?
