Nerf Bars

We took the Nerf bars off our 2000 Ford explorer sport and I want to know what all years and models they will fit on.

They "should" fit on the 98-2001 directly. Maybe 95-97 too, I just cannot remember if the mounting holes were changed.
But 98-2001 is a very popular range, since I take it you're gonna try selling these....
You may want to qualify your ad with "you may need to drill new mounting holes if you've got a 95-97".

Now does it matter if its a 2 door sport or a 4 door. Will they fit both kinds

My 2000 Sport had Nerf Bars (side steps) was wondering what all models and years they will fit onto. . 2dr, 4dr and years

Yes it does. The Sport's will be shorter than a 4 door.

what he said above, the 4 door which i have is quite a bit longer then the sport.

okays, thank u. I just wanted to have a little heads up in case I got questions about them.

I figured they could bolt onto anything, just got to drill a few holes and slap em on lol

Explorer nerf bars 1998 and other years

Picked up a pair of 2002 - 2005 for daughters 1998. They will not bolt up without rework. Suggest drilling holes in the newer nerf bars and inserting new expansion nuts since the brackets have their positions pretty much unmovable on the 98 due to pockets provided in the plastic rocker panel trim. Out of the six holes only one can be used.
