I had my entire rear brake system redone as the e-brake was rusted out and the pads/calipers were shot and things were generally a mess. Long story short, after the job was done, the brakes developed at knock-knock-knock when I applied braking pressure after driving for 10-15 minutes (I guess they need to be warmed up first?).
The interval is about 2-3 knocks per second at regular road speed. There is no vibration, no noticeable change in driveability or brake effectiveness, just that knock.
The shop that did the work has looked at this before, couldn't find any marks indicating any rubbing, but took apart the brake system and put it back together in case something had gotten loose. A month later (now) the knock is back.
Any ideas what's going on?
Thanks in advance.
