New from CT

Hey all, my parents recently passed their 2000 Mountaineer(with 234k on it but it still runs great, its a 5.0l and needs an o2 sensor on the left bank! runs rough sometimes!). I've been looking on this site for a while and has a lot of great information and I think I'll be on here a lot more! I'll get some pics up but its just a bone stock mountaineer, hopefully not for too long though!

Welcome to the forum. If I was you I would get that o2 sensor fixed asap before it does any damage to the motor form running lean.

Welcome to this forum! You will need a special socket to remove the O2 sensor.

Thanks for that info! Something I didn't know and would have sucked when I went to go put it on lol - http://www.harborfreight.com/3-8-eighth-inch-oxygen-sensor-socket-95045.html So is that like what I would need?

That would work. There is another one listed in the same ad on the lower right hand corner that should work too. I prefer a 1/2" drive for this job since they could sometimes be tough to remove. You could tighten it with a 3/8" drive so that you don't over tighten it.
