Hi all.
Just picked up a new to me 98 Exploder Sport. Nice ride and strong engine but a few cosmetic problems. Got the dead key fob issue worked out and the door code changed to a code I can remember.
My big problem is the lift gate not engaging the latch so it won't open. Besides that the glass button activator won't work either. I can handle one but not both.
I did a search and found some good threads and plan on trying some of the suggestions tomorrow.
Also the drivers seat adjuster is broken. Luckily it's in a good position but I ordered a used one off of e-bay just a few minutes ago.
Anybody know where to pick up some used parts here in the area? In addition to the lift gate my roof rack is missing the back slider.
I plan to share photos of my repairs to hopefully help folks down the road.
