Just bought a 97 Eddie Bauer 5.0 AWD last week. I already love it.

Couple questions:

First I don't know the door code how can I reprogram it with a new one?

Second looking for audio opions, those of you with second gens, what have you been happy with? The radio works, but the disc changer makes a clicking noise and if I'm going to tear into it I might want to do something a little more involved.

Third: I've seen that lots of you have done the shackle/TTB lift, and it's on my list of things to do, any other must do things that you have really been happy that you did to your 2nd gen.

Welcome to this forum! The label with the codes is on the driver's side door pillar. Check the audio & navigation section for information on the stereo.

Keyless entry code:
You cant reprogram it, you can add more codes. The factory code is on a sticker attached to the module. Its inside the jack compartment.
