So we have had our (the wife and I)02 XLT EX for about 3 years now. We love it and enjoy the room and the power that the 4.6 has. I found this site due to the issues that we started to have with it. Its been in the family since it new. My father in-law bought it new and daily drove it till 90K then my wife and I traded him her civic for it. Its been a great SUV for us going on a number of road trips and doing some light towing pulling the ATV on a small trailer. Unfortunately its has little issues that I'm hoping to be able to fix myself. While reading on this wonderful forum that you guys have. I have learned that my Ex can pull up to 7000 lb. and have started to think about maybe trying out towing my rock crawler and trailer instead of my 2wd van. I will not go in to great detail here about my questions and issues but I will post my questions in the correct sections in the next day or so. Thanks for the great info I have already found, you guys have brought new faith to our :exp:
