Hello folks
I just traded my 03 Deville for my dads 98 5.0 2wd mountaineer. found this site on google. lots of great information.
my previous joy was a 95 eclipse turbo AWD that i had for 11yrs. worked on it a little bit and got 310hp to all 4 wheels (stock is 210 at motor). after the arrival of my 2nd child, the eclipse had to go
in sept '09 i got an 03 deville with 39k miles. it was great, but i couldnt tinker with it. you can't even change the radio in those things without things going whacky.
anywho.... traded my dad and i'm loving this thing already.
its old so a door ding won't upset me
i can actually work on it
its not an 'old man car' as my wife says
my dad picked it up with some '06 mustang v6 rims and on a delivery trip for ford, picked up some 2011 18" mustang GT wheels and tires.
looking forward to learning more and more!

Welcome aboard. I like the wheels but I think you either need a little bigger tire, or you need to drop it a little.

Any performance mods in store for the ex?

Welcome and I agree with the first two posters.

Welcome aboard! :salute:

I agree. I like the color and the new wheels look really good.:thumbsup:

thanks everyone. the wheels and tires came together. if i had the funds, i'd put bigger rubber on there, but i don't at the moment
i plan on doing a 3" body lift, intake, and open up the exhaust a little
nothing crazy
i may rock the 16's and put the tires up for sale, then put bigger rubber on the 18's
they rub the sway bar when i turn the wheels all the way, but if i back off the steering just about an inch, no rub.

id rather lift it, look like a doofus till i get money for tires, then put the right size tires on there instead of putting bigger tires now, then lift.

my dad was a trucker and apparently those guys like to chrome everything... i'm the opposite
so i yanked the stick on fender trim.
also looks better now that the suspension leveled out
