New guy on the block

Hey I'm a new guy on the site. I just found the site today and wanted to say hay. I htink it's really cool that there is a site for Explorer owners. I have a 1996 XLT 4 Door 4X4. It has a 4.0. Only performace mod so far is a K&N Filter.

Sounds like we have the same truck, your's wouldn't happen to be the dark green would it? Glad you found us. Not sure if you are interested in adding a new exhaust, but Ford Racing has a Borla exhaust for 95-96 4 doors for only $165!! Let me know if you are interested and I can point you in the right direction. Be sure to cruise around the site and check everything out, tons of great info to check out. Thanks for the welcome. I am very interested in a cat back exhaust. $165, you can't beat that price. Yeah mine is dark green w/tan interior. My license plate is 96EXPLR. What do you think about that? Thanks again for the welcome. Brian

I've got the grey interior. For the Borla cat-back, you can try http://www.holcomania.com or http://www.ramchargers.com The part number is M-5200-FA. Be sure to tell them that it is the Ford Motorsport exhaust. The latest is that they still have these kits available. Beats paying 400 or so bucks! Hope this helps you!

I appreciate the info on the exhaust. I will definately check it out.
