93 Exlorer XLT
Hi, I've got a 93 Explorer XLT with 160k and it's still going strong, but it does have it's quirs as well as the common fuel fill area rust. Does anyone sell replacement panels for this area? I've owned it for about 2 years and love it, my mechanic told me I can expect 250k+ out of it, anyone else have this kind of luck?

I know I need new hubs but I don't want to convert to manual locking ones, what's a good replacement type?

Thanks

You can get 250k out of a engine if you treat it right. But doubtfully out of the tranny. As for hubs, go with some Warn hubs.

You might be able to find some replacment panels from a junkyard or ebay.

I also have a 93 ford explorer XLT , but have noticed problems keeping a charge when i go to restarting the vehicle. This being my second explorer i have owned, this appears to be a typical problem with ford explorers or just my luck. Any answers to my prob, respond to justin_vandette@hotmail.com.
thanks!
JUSTIN
