Hey all,
New to the forum but as most folks have I've been sent to this site when searching for ailments. My family has had explorers since 91'. I've got an 02' XLT 4.6L 4x4. So far I've done the typical repairs for the model year:
New transmission at 60K miles(dealer)
New rear springs and shocks (me)
New front struts/upper & lower ball joints/ tie rods (me)
New front wheel bearings (me)
Of course I have the obligatory cracked rear panel on the glass lift and the rear differential chatter. Hopefully will tackle the rear in the spring. Great forum and I look forward to continued use.
