New member (my problem)

Hi folks
Can anyone help me ive a 2005 ford ranger wildtrack which i have just purchased my problem is when i brake sharp the front drivers side wheel makes a loud grating noise like metal on metal i have taken it back to the dealer who tells me its nothing to worry about its only the abs kicking in
does anyone else have this problem

THe ABS does pulse the brakes when the brake is applied aggressively to the point where the brakes would lock. However, the ABS should not be pulsing or activating during normal braking.
